Tenký model iPhone 17 má mať hrúbku 5.5 mm

Pripravovaný nový tenší model smartfónu iPhone od Apple, ktorý bude uvedený tento rok, má mať hrúbku tela 5.5 mm.

Avizujú to ďalšie neoficiálne informácie, tentokrát od čínskeho užívateľa Ice Universe často zverejňujúceho informácie o zatiaľ neuvedených produktoch. Na jeho informácie upozornil MacRumors.

Podľa skorších neoficiálnych informácií má Apple u tohtoročných štandardných modelov smartfónu iPhone nahradiť model iPhone Plus novým modelom zameraným na čo najmenšiu hrúbku. Pre tento model sa očakáva označenie iPhone 17 Air.

Podľa Ice Universe bude mať telefón celkovú maximálnu hrúbku 9.5 mm a modul so zadným fotoaparátom bude mať hrúbku 4.0 mm, telo smartfónu by tak malo mať hrúbku 5.5 mm.

Hrúbku okolo 5.5 mm už v januári avizoval aj analytik Ming-Chi Kuo, ktorý v minulosti opakovane presne predpovedal viaceré produkty Apple. Podľa Kua kvôli tenkému dizajnu telefón nemá podporovať fyzickú SIM a bude podporovať iba eSIM.

Podľa informácií Kua z februára má Apple v novom tenkom modeli iPhonu 17 použiť aj svoj modem pre mobilné siete Apple C1, ktorý bol prvýkrát použitý v novom lacnejšom modeli iPhone 16e. V ostatných modeloch iPhone 17 modem od Apple nemá byť ešte použitý, vo všetkých tohtoročných modeloch iPhone 17 má ale Apple použiť nový vlastný čip pre WiFi.
