SpaceX štvrtýkrát odložila vypustenie ďalších 60 satelitov Starlink

Spoločnosť SpaceX vo štvrtok už štvrtýkrát odložila štart svojej rakety Falcon 9, ktorá má uskutočniť trináste vynesenie desiatok satelitov Starlink pre poskytovanie pripojenia k Internetu.

Najskôr v polovici septembra spoločnosť oznámila zrušenie prvého plánovaného štartu kvôli problému s pristávaním prvého stupňa, ktorý mal pristávať na lodi v Atlantickom oceáne. Spoločnosť nešpecifikovala, či išlo o zlé počasie alebo technický problém.

Náhradný druhý termín bol ďalší deň zrušený kvôli zlému počasiu v oblasti pristávania prvého stupňa.

Štart bol preložený na tento pondelok, opäť bol ale odložený kvôli počasiu.

Ďalší termín bol naplánovaný na štvrtok, tentokrát bol štart zrušený podľa stručného oznámenia kvôli neočakávaným dátam z bližšie nešpecifikovaného pozemného senzora. Ďalší termín zatiaľ SpaceX neoznámila.

Posledný štart rakety Falcon uskutočnila SpaceX ešte 3. septembra. Ďalší by sa mohol uskutočniť v noci na zajtra, keď na 3:43 zajtra má SpaceX naplánované vynesenie GPS satelitu.

Vo štvrtok mala raketa Falcon 9 vynášať 60 Starlink satelitov. Spoločnosť pri každom lete vynáša 60 kusov prípadne o niekoľko kusov menej ak so satelitmi Starlink vynáša aj nejaké satelity pre zákazníkov.

SpaceX plánuje pre Starlink mnohé tisícky satelitov, prvých viac ako 4.4 tisíc má byť na orbitálnych výškach 550 km a 1110 až 1325 km, ďalších viac ako 7.5 tisíc na výrazne nižších orbitálnych výškach medzi 335 a 345 km. Spoločnosť podala žiadosti aj na ďalších 30 tisíc satelitov pre orbity medzi 328 až 580 km, podľa prezidentky spoločnosti Gwynne Shotwellovej ale zatiaľ nie je isté že použijú až takýto vysoký počet satelitov.
