Viac ako 42% firemných PC stále nie je kompatibilných s Windows 11

Viac ako 42% firemných pracovných staníc aspoň podľa prieskumu spoločnosti Lansweeper stále nie je plne kompatibilných s Windows 11 a nespĺňa minimálne hardvérové požiadavky pre automatický upgrade na túto verziu.

Lansweeper, tvorca softvéru pre manažment IT infraštruktúry, o tom informuje na základe štatistiky z približne 30 miliónov zariadení s Windows v 60 tisíc organizáciách.

Podľa tejto štatistiky požiadavky pre automatický upgrade na Windows 11 spĺňa 57.26%, nespĺňa ich teda 42.74%.

Spoločnosť Microsoft pre Windows 11 výrazne zvýšila minimálne hardvérové požiadavky, pričom sú podporované len procesory z posledných rokov. V prípade procesorov Intel Core to sú procesory minimálne 8. generácie Core a niektoré najvyššie modely 7. generácie, v prípade AMD Ryzenov procesory Ryzen od modelov 2000.

Okrem toho sú vyžadované 4 GB RAM, 64 GB disk, UEFI Secure Boot, TPM 2.0, grafika s podporou DirectX 12 s ovládačom WDDM 2.0 a displej s rozlíšením minimálne 720p, uhlopriečkou väčšou ako 9" a 8 bitmi na farebný kanál.

Podľa štatistiky má kompatibilný procesor 57.26% počítačov, evidentne tak všetky firemné počítače s kompatibilným CPU spĺňajú aj ostatné požiadavky. Dostatočnú kapacitu RAM má 92.85% počítačov, potrebné TPM 2.0 má 64.57% počítačov.

Oproti októbru minulého roka, kedy bol Windows 11 vydaný, sa podiel kompatibilných počítačov vo firmách nezanedbateľne zvýšil. Pred rokom bolo podľa Lansweeper kompatibilných 44.4% pracovných staníc.

Podľa informácií spoločnosti Microsoft pre niektoré médiá ešte pred vydaním Windows 11 sa dá Windows 11 manuálne nainštalovať aj na počítače so staršími procesormi. Takéto inštalácie ale nie sú oficiálne podporované a spoločnosť pre ne negarantuje aktualizácie cez Windows Update.

Vsetci yebly admini riesia MS SQL ked maju vyzadovat riesenie s open source DB (MySQL,MariaDB,Postgre), a jasne vedeniu vysvetlit ako sa cele riesiena predrazuju len kvoli tomu ze pouzivany softver je vendorlockingovany na MS. Samozrjeme, nikto manualne nezapinal bitlocker, w11 si to zapina samo, ked sa clovek rozhodne ze nechce microsoft ucet, tak to nema ani zalohovane.
