Sprístupnená služba pre overenie, či nový pas nemá problémy v niektorých čítačkách

Ministerstvo vnútra aktuálne oznámilo sprístupnenie služby, ktorá umožňuje uveriť či nový pas vydaný na prelome rokov nemá problémy s načítaním na niektorých letiskách.

Ako sme informovali v prvej polovici mesiaca, podľa informácií ministerstva kvôli chybnému softvéru na strane dodávateľa pri procese personalizácie pasov majú takéto problémy desaťtisíce nových pasov.

Podľa pôvodných informácií ministerstva problém mali mať niektoré pasy, ktoré boli vydané medzi 11. novembrom 2022 a 30. januárom 2023. Podľa aktuálnych informácií ide o niektoré pasy, o ktoré občania požiadali v tomto období, teda medzi 11. novembrom 2022 a 30. januárom 2023. Podľa informácií z prvej polovice mesiaca ministerstvo identifikovalo zatiaľ približne 30-tisíc problematických pasov a ešte analyzovalo ich celkový počet, nové informácie o počte aktuálne neoznámilo.

Problém spôsobuje akým spôsobom boli do pasov uložené niektoré technické informácie, pričom spôsob použitý v problematických pasoch nie je plne podporovaný niektorými softvérovými nástrojmi na čítanie údajov z pasov evidentne používanými napríklad na niektorých letiskách. Údaje po nahratí nie je možné z bezpečnostných dôvodov zmeniť, potrebná je tak výmena pasov.

Problematické pasy si bude možné vymeniť bezplatne, pričom občania majúci problematický pas budú podľa ministerstva upozornení na túto možnosť SMS alebo emailom.

Teraz bola sprístupnená na webe ministerstva služba, ktorá umožňuje overiť či má daný pas tento problém podľa čísla pasu.

Ak problematický pas na letiskách neprečítajú automatizované terminály, občania sú presmerovaní na fyzické kontrolné miesta. Pri takejto kontrole sú problematické pasy uznávané a ministerstvo podľa pôvodného oznámenia v prvej polovici mesiaca nedisponovalo informáciami o tom, že by nejaký občan kvôli tomuto pasu nebol prepustený k ďalšej ceste.
